How do I order/Activate my Spot card?

Ordering your Spot card is easy. To qualify, you'll need to have a positive wallet balance of R29 (for delivery) on your Spot account. Once this is done, you'll see the card order option available on your Spot app.

To order your Spot card:

1. Sign in to your Spot app.
2. Tap the Cards icon at the bottom of your screen.
3.  Tap on Order your card. You’ll be prompted to select where you want your card to be delivered and enter the delivery address. Please make sure you fill in all the fields to complete your order.
   
4. Once you've entered your delivery information, tap Send and your card application will be sent to us. 

Heads up. It may take up to 5 working days for your card to be delivered but it's usually much quicker than that.  

Once your card is delivered, it’s time to activate it! 

1. 1. Sign in to your Spot app.
   2. Tap Cards at the bottom of your app screen.
   3.  Select the "Physical Cards" Section.
   4. Select the account you wish to link your card to and enter the 16-digit number and expiration date found at the back of the card and click Next.
   5. We'll send you an OTP. Enter it and hit Next.
   6. Create a secure secret PIN for your card (remember not to share it with anyone) and that's it, your card is now activated. 

   A quick note. You'll need to insert your card into a point-of-sale device and enter your PIN before you can use the tap-to-pay feature.
