If you had a positive balance on the old app, you should be able to seamlessly migrate those funds to your new Spot app. Once you've signed up and activated, tap the burger menu (the three stack lines on the bottom right of your app) to see the migration prompt as seen on the below screen:
If your device's text or zoom settings are set to a larger size, you may not see the "confirm" button as detailed below:
To fix this, you'll need to adjust your Zoom or text settings.
